【Report 🇦🇺】Sanzen in Melbourne and Sydney!
Melbourne, Australia was one of the first overseas destination Kikuchi visited in 2014 to embark on the path of exporting!
Since then, we have been fortunate to have a good relationship with Heigo Australia and have been carefully taken care and handled our sake.

The two events we were set up in Melbourne this time,
At Bounty of the Sun was a Sanzen night with customers who are familiar with sake including Sanzen at there usually, then at Leonie Upstairs was a master class for restaurant owners, hotel sommeliers and managers.

Both were rich in content, and we witnessed the depth of their familiarity with sake, their spirit of exploration and their insatiable pursuit of all the elements surrounding sake.
Sanzen fans could immerse more deeply in Kikuchi Sake Brewery through the full line-up, for the Master Class guests, it was a time to delve deeper into the brewery’s story and brewing in a good sense of tension, and to deepen their understanding of us.

Above all, we were keenly aware that sake has penetrated far beyond the level of ‘sake that you drink once to try it out’ to ‘sake that is one of your CHOICES’.
It’s a joy to see the high potential of sake in people’s lives and at restaurants, and to see customers who know how to enjoy them.

And the navigation by Ms.Melissa_Sake Connect of Team Heigo was, in many ways, intoxicating, with her high-level sake lectures that are hard to come across even in Japan.
Our sake is refrigerated from the port in Japan until it arrives at warehouse in Melbourne, where it is distributed with the utmost care and management by Heigo.
The fresh and juicy Sakaoto, a new series, were also well received with a new and pleasantly taste.

Our sake is also available in Sydney, where we stopped beforehand.
Myzakaya, which is full of local customers even at lunchtime, the five-star hotel W Hotel Sydney in the bayarea, and KOI Experiential, a high-end cake café during the day and a creative French restaurant at night, all deal mainly with Omachi rice sake, and their uninterrupted popularity is very exciting.

The Australian sake market is a pleasantly uplifting place, where sake is not alien, but still a little bit special!
